The course requires at least some experience in watercolour. Complete beginners should try the Starting Watercolour course first
From the time you first access the course, a subject will be added each week for six weeks but thereafter you can take the course at your own pace. You can even revisit the course as often as you like.
The course discussion group is a great place to ask for advice or ask questions. As well as myself, all of the members of the group have enrolled in the course so it is a good way to share ideas. I will also use the discussion group to notify students of additional material that may be added to the course.
The six subjects have been chosen to highlight many of the common features of the landscape. You will learn how to choose and compose a subject as well as how to approach the painting of the subject. I cover choice of materials, colour mixing and I will be passing on lessons learned during over 35 years of watercolour painting.

Read MoreGrahame has clearly invested a great deal of time, effort and expertise in creating this excellent course. He is a wonderful artist and a superb teacher who empathises with our fears and gives us the tools and techniques to enable us to move forward on our own watercolour journey. He generously shares his thought process and approach, guides us gently through the challenges, helps us smile and learn from our mistakes - all with a great sense of humour. There have been many 'lightbulb' moments for me through the six weeks and I am so grateful his course came at just the right time. Many thanks indeed, Grahame.
