The course requires some experience in watercolour. Basic techniques such as mixing and applying paint are not covered in this course. Complete beginners should try the free Starting Watercolour course first or have a look at my YouTube channel.
Not at all. From the time you first access the course, a subject will be added each week for six weeks but you can take the course at your own pace. You can even revisit the course as often as you like.
The course discussion group is a great place to ask for advice or ask questions. As well as myself, all of the members of the group have enrolled in the course so it is a good way to share ideas. I will also use the discussion group to notify students of additional material that may be added to the course.
The six subjects are varied and have been chosen to highlight many of the common features of the landscape. You will learn how to choose and compose a subject as well as how to approach the painting of the subject. I cover choice of materials, colour mixing and I will be passing on lessons learned during over 35 years of watercolour painting.

Read MoreThis was my third online course (besides several webinars and a in person-course) with Grahame. I learned a lot again and I am happy to be able to rely on some of Grahame's techniques, which have always accompanied me and helped me to improve. The course - together with other participants - was a lot of fun. I am very grateful that Grahame is passing on his many years of knowledge and expertise to us. There is no better teacher! Believe me!
